Welcome to Allen's Space!
His very first Hello World program was written in BASIC when he was in Grade 5:
PRINT "Hello, World!"
END
That was the beginning of his journey into technology.
He is a life learner and a person of action. One day, he wanted to know how the embedded system works. After all the research, he immediately purchased all the components of Raspberry Pi and worked on a project sensing temperature and humidity in real-time and displaying it on the web browser.
He believes that convergence makes countless synergy possibilities and provides a great understanding of not only its own character but also its relationship in-between. He was into networking so he decided to work for Nokia which is one of the prestigious network companies in order to learn how network systems communicate together. After that, he worked for Cisco as a Software Engineer for Cisco Automation Test Solution called PyATS & Genie for a while.
He wanted to contribute to making people's lives better with his technical expertise. He thinks that improving the quality of life is always important no matter what communities, regions, and countries are. He believes we are all the same people who are pursuing our happiness and if technology can help any of it, it is worth trying. This is why he worked for SLiDE which provides technologies for socially conscious organizations in Ottawa.
He also explored the Kernel Production Line with the Edgescale team that works on abstracting over the fine details of DNS, SSL certificate management, network edge, and asset delivery as a Production Engineer at Shopify to learn how to scale and manage the production side.
He worked on various modules for the next level of the automotive platform at Ford Motor Company as a Networking Software Test Engineer and worked as an IT Analyst/Developer at Canada Revenue Agency, contributing to national IT initiatives that supported government operations and services for Canadians.
He then focused on implementing and optimizing security solutions as a Professional Services Engineer at Acre Security, developing custom packages, integrating APIs, and delivering client-facing solutions across enterprise-scale organizations.
He now helps enterprise clients solve complex technical challenges as a Support Engineer at Solace, working with cloud environments, messaging systems, APIs, and emerging AI-driven technologies.
